  25. I have a Aptiva M70, with a 28.8 modem.  I am beginning to beleive 
  26. that the modem is not compatible with all v.34 service providers.
  27. I base this on trying to connect to IBM's v.34 line, in toronto and Montreal,  about 
  28. 100 times, connecting only 5 times.
  29. Then connecting to another service provider without any trouble. I have use all kinds of
  30. setup strings from IBM, and no success. They are 
  31. sending me an update disk for the mwave, I hope it works.
